Product Performance Standards – provide reference tables covering the performance standards applicable to over 20 different Homeware product types.
Technical File Review – product risk assessments and review of test certification.

Training

Provided bespoke training for Steinhoff’s central QA team and Cargo’s Head of Buying, on Homeware products, compliance, and showing Due Diligence.
Including a review of the product development process, with a detailed explanation on the importance of a documented process and input from the Quality Assurance team at the supplier briefing, product selection, and sign off stages.
To enable ongoing in-house compliance management.

Product Performance Standards and Directives

Provided mandatory and non-mandatory product performance testing requirements for over 20 homeware product categories: i.e. British Standards (BS), European Standards (EN), and International Standards (ISO).
Indicating the key associated Directives (REACh, W.E.E.E., RoHS, Battery Directive, Packaging Waste Directive).

Technical File Review

In conjunction with one of Steinhoff’s Technologists reviewed all the products in Cargo’s new Spring / Summer 2015 collection
